Hola
SAT's are over, half term is here and even more good news...... The school has won a prize for 'The Best Spanish School'. Mrs Waibokeze entered us for the competition and this week we had a visitor, from The Spanish Embassy, to judge our school. Needless to say, she was very impressed.
On Wednesday the upper school had a special treat. A show, by actors from the Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford. It was presented in the style of a Pantomime and the children had a fantastic time. It was also very informative, teaching the children about the history and different aspects of the theatre. The second half of the show, the actors took questions from the children and there was some dressing up too! (See photographs).
A big thank you to parents and family for supporting our 'after SAT's' party with your generous donations. Once again the children had a great, (and well deserved), time. Hopefully for those family members who were able to attend at the end, you also had a good time. We had quite a few goodies left, so the children have been enjoying some of those this week. We have also put some aside for our End of Term party. So once again, thankyou. Don't forget to look at the photos!!
As this Blog is being written, the classroom is filled with the sound of I Will Survive. Yes, practice is well under way for our production. So don't forget to practise in the holidays 6T and 6H!!!! We have also had a Rap Competition this week. Some fantastic entries and some really talented children. Everyone should be proud of themselves.
So all in all, quite a packed week this week. Well everybody, have a great holiday. See you all on your return and DON'T FORGET to sing, sing,sing................

We have just come home from watching the Year 6 football team playing in the Pennant Cup Final against Parkhill School. The team were very well supported by Year 6 teachers, parents, family and friends but sadly a very unfair decission by the linesman lead to Parkhill School winning. The boys and girl of the team played very well and were very sporting in congratulating the winning team.
Well done to the team and Mr Nunn for getting to the final of the Cup.
Pat, Siobhan, Ellie and Ava Maher
